“Fly”

In the art scene it sometimes doesn’t seem to matter so much WHAT you do as long as you do it somewhere good. If you show a piece at an established art-space or in an important art-show, people will somehow accept that what they see is art.
I tried to highlight this by showing my pet-fly Henry at established galleries and spaces and tried to turn him into an art-star celebrity. Henry traveled to several galleries at several places in Europe. He was a guest at London’s Lisson gallery and at W139 in Amsterdam and enjoyed coverage by respected newspapers and the BBC news. It’s interesting to see how real art-specialists suddenly look with total different eyes at a normal fly…
