"Close Harmony" consists of two modern laptop computers that explore on their relationship by singing a duet together.

I practiced with couples to sing a lovesong together. In the end I used the recordings of one couple to give each laptop a singing voice (male and female). The computers are now linked through a network cable and work together to sing a duet in Close Harmony style. They serenade each other’s beauty and talents. But at the same time the lyrics are about the inability to function together properly and about the loss of one’s identity when the other person is around.
